The backless, full-length dress of emerald green jersey, heavily embroidered with matching sequins, decorated with inset waistband.  Unlabeled, by Norman Norell, worn by Marilyn Monroe at the Golden Globe Award Ceremonies in Hollywood on March 5, 1962, when accepting her award as 1961's "World's Favorite Film Star."
