||Lot 211 - A FANCY CAPE A black silk and ostrich feather wrap with two velvet arm straps and an interior label reading "Made to Order / Rex, Inc., Beverly Hills, California;" Rex being a brand name Marilyn Monroe frequently purchased. Interestingly, this piece may have also been used as a prop in Monroe's last and unfinished film, "Something's Got To Give;" A similar wrap can be seen in the handbag she carries as she watches her children in the swimming pool.
